THE 31st ANNUAL HUI O HE’E NALU INDEPENDENCE DAY PADDLEBOARD & STAND UP PADDLE RACE
We had a record turnout of 400 paddlers and a “chop suey bowl” of competitors ranging from the good, the novice, the pregnant (two competitors who were 8 1/2 months and 5 months hapai), to the disabled boy and a man with polio who had to be escorted up the beach by our race staff due to their inability to walk.
