This Morning’s Surf Report: 6′-10′+ New WNW swell filled in overnight to provide plenty of solid overhead to a few feet overhead groomed lines for the north shore today. Pipe has butterball morning conditions with light offshore winds.
Here is how things are shaping up over the next few days.

Professional surfers and mixed martial arts athletes met with patients in Unit 4200 at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, newly redecorated with a Hawaiian theme.
The unit, which treats pediatric patients with diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders and cystic fibrosis, was decorated by the Mauli Ola Foundation, which teaches children with genetic disorders like cystic fibrosis how to surf. Mauli Ola means breath of life in Hawaiian. The Children’s Hospital unit is the first the foundation has decorated, hospital officials said in a news release.
Professional surfer Kalani Robb was involved in the decorating process and met with patients on Monday along with professional surfers Barney Barron and Teddy Navarro and mixed martial arts athlete Brian Ortega, the release stated.
“We are unbelievably blessed to have the Mauli Ola Foundation to be a part of the re-creation of unit 4200,” said Alane Albee, the unit’s charge nurse. “Not only have they given us our dream unit, but more importantly a beautiful and comfortable place for our patients to heal.”
